Bozoma Saint John, Merlee Jayme y Geoff Northcott fueron designados como presidentes del Jurado de Cannes Lions 2021.
Y este año se dio una ecuación especial inédita para el festival: el 57% de la composición de los presidentes del jurado son mujeres.
Philip Thomas, Chairman, LIONS, expresó:
«Sabemos que después de la postergación del encuentro 2020 los presidentes del jurado están ansiosos por ponerse en acción. Será un juzgamiento especial porque se estarán premiando los trabajos del 2020 y del 2021. Es un trabajo importante ideal para este grupo tan talentoso de individuos que lograrán poner un nueva vara para la valuación del trabajo creativo».
Simon Cook, Managing Director, LIONS, adelantó que si hubiera alguna dificultad para realizar un encuentro fisico entre los jurados se podrá aplicar un sistema remoto que resultó satisfactorio en los certámenes regionales.
